I've known Steve (El Polacko) for longer then Volksrods has been around. We worked together for many years before I retired in 2007. I went on a trip to California and picked up The Rat Patrol for Steve when he bought it. It was the coolest VW I'd ever seen. It sure brought a lot of attention on the road and everywhere I stopped. from all the state patrol officers that passed me along the way too. I don't have any VW's but do have a few Fieros I play around with. I've got an 86 SE with a Ferrari 288 GTO kit installed. I've also got a 66 Chevelle Super Sport that needs some attention. I had a new 36'X48' shop built a couple years ago but due to some medical problems haven't had time to do much car work. But things are looking up now so it shouldn't be long before wrenches are turning. I hope to get together with Steve soon to catch on what's been going on. It looks like he's been doing a lot of remodeling on his house lately. Well I hope to meet some of the fine folks on the site. I've met some folks years ago when I was still working and look forward to meeting more of you soon.
