For the purple notch's nose...
This is the First polish with 1500 grit and then 3000rpm on the drill press.

Was racing the purple car this summer... until last Saturday night when I busted the transmission/axle.

So, now the pink car is going to become a dedicated racer with some upgrades and changes coming...

Biggest will be the addition of a supercharger from a 2.4L toyota.

Long overdue update.
At Casa de Fye, we are down to 1.5 VWs. I have:
64 Mid-engine Notchback Speedster-- 2332cc engine
Little Giant Killer 3 Porsche styled speedster drag car-- 2275cc engine with turbo or supercharger (TBD later).

All else is gone. I need to focus on just these and I am perfectly happy to do so at this point.

The notch came back to life again today. Woot!

Disassembly of the rear to get out the old nose cone complete! I had to remove the trunk floor, the rear most truss bar, cut out a nosecone mount and reroute battery wiring, but it is out. Next, clean up and make access holes for the new NC hex bolts to be tightened.
