welly welly welly...I am going to be starting my chop soon. Agian. Hopefully nothing goes wrong this time. Since this is my first one i have decided to go with a slant chop with the pie cut in the c pillar and not all te way through it. Im doing this because i think it will be easier for me to do. On my next bug i can try a different kind but for this one im doing the rake one. Also i found a nice surprise the hole were the PO put the antana is nasty. A huge hole not grinded smooth or aything that was covered in bondo. Lucky i saw it it was starting to rust alot. So i need to clean that up and weld a patch in there. Im going to mxico on a cruise on the 4th so My chop will probably get started when i get back. Preping is going on now.(planning and cutting braces and measuring all that stuff.) i shaved my door handles...well sorta i did the passenger side beacuse the handle was on the door still of the dirvers side and the door was welded shut. i still need to get the extra roof for my chop. this weekend hopefully. I really wanna get it at leasted tacked down soon. Im trying to think up some ideas for how i want my interir. Im thinking of ditching the 'glass dash and welding in a paeice of metal across. That is a most likely possibility for the future. Also i dont tinhk im goignt to make that sword shifter im looking for something so totaly crazy that no one would think of it.

well... I do have some good news. I will have a motor soon(within the next month) Its gonig to be a longblock. When i get it im going to swap out the heads on it with the 040's the ratrodvw gave me and build it all up and make it ready to put in my car. Im real exited about about getting it going. Also i will most likley be getting my extra roof this weekend if everything works out so my chop will be done in not too long also

yah, i got alot done today. i got my drivers door almost done. All the area where the window comes out is all welded shut and nice and smooth now. I like it alot. And i also started to shave the vents below the back window. All it needs it to have te metal welded into it now its all ready for it. I stopped becasue cutting all that steel with pussy ass tin snips tires out my arms so im going to finish tomarrow and then also do my passenger door. Pics to come tommarow.

alirght well i wont post any pics of my new bug up right now youve seent hem already. So right now im trying to figure out where to put my plaqe on it. I dont really know if that car would be considered a volksrod but oh well.I will have some new door silenoids soon so i can actually open the doors without using the inside handle. also i am thinking of taking out the carpet and what not to por 15 the pan because thaeres alot of surface rust and i want to prevent any future rusting. Just thinking ahead to save some headache. well thats it for now....
