here is what the front end should look like when its all done. Minus the shock towers poking out and some diff wheels. The back will be raeised up more than it is in the pic too.

well im almost done with the beam i was welding and ran out so i gatta get some more tomarrow hopfully and then finish welding it up. I have all of it cut and just need to weld it up and its done. Spent abuot 20 min measuring to make sure everything was dead on. should look good when its done. After this is dont i need to finish all the oter things i started on and wondered off onto something else like filling in the tops of my doors, finishing shavinf the rear vents, figuring what to do with the back by where the c pillar was(im stuck on what to do here ) and then i can worry about the mechanics after. I plan on driving this before i graduate. So i think i can do it

Theese are going to be the main ones(two on bottom outside and two on top inside) and i will have some other tubing going to the framehead for supposrt as well as some to strengthen up the framehead from the tention that will be on it.

yah i put the stock hood that got hit in the front up on there. It clears and has about an inch of space more. I coulda went out more with the beam but oh well. The car sits way to freakin low in the back cuz i was messing around learing about how to do it on it. I will raise it up a couple notches, the front will sit lower too once all the weight is actually on the beam. the shock towers look goofy up there so they will come off too.I'm sorta seein this thing some togeher finally

got some coating on the floor pans today. No rust for me in the future . I can get my liscence on july 14 sooo that means before then i need to do my brakes, bleed them, get my door solenoids, find a locking hood handle(i dont like the idea of anyone being able to open it, especially since my emergency door release is in there) I also need to firure out why my oil temp gauge isnt working. Then just need tires and i should be set. I think im going to get some 195's for the back at the most. The 215's are freakin wide! I might even go to stock 165's too. I havnt decided on 135's or 145's for my front. It has 145's on there right now but will be going lower soon in the future(when i can afford spindles) so thats about it rigt now. No progress on the rod

well my carbs piss me off. I spent about and housr today just trying to figure those bastards out because when i took my fan shroud off last week and then put everything back on it was idling at like 1500rpms and it did at like 1000 before. So i messed with everything and now when i push the linkage and the trhottles are both wide open and i let go it all goes back it used to not go fully back on the pass. side carb so thats fixed but now i need to mess with the idle and see why its doing that. Then.. i need to find someone to help me re jet them. they have 36 mm vents in em right now and i am going to pout 32's in it and re jet it to get better mileage out of it, So if anyone is local to me and knows about carbs let me know and i'll pay you to help me!

cool, got my header and muffler on i love it, it isnt a stinger but its cool. I like the stinger better but oh well for now. I really need to get my new engine tin. I think i might get the scat kit thats all powdercoated. I also need to modify the other tin to fit right so it stays cooler. My oil pressure gauge stopped working a few days ago i need to fix it. I finally got my front brakes done too. They PO had the rear shoes on the front for some reason. So i put new shoes and drums new bearings all the good stuff. Now next weekend i will do the rears. Should be getting tires here soon so im ganna be rollin cant wait to get this thing on the road

tightened up all my intake maifold bolts, they were all really reall loose so no everything it tight and it idles like a champ i love it. My carbs are working real good everything is awsome then i find out my motor needs to be torn apart but my dad wont let me do it so i have to wait till it blows like he(even though im the one tats going to do it and pay for it) says because he doesnt want to have to rebuild it now when theres still some left in it even tho i try to explain it might be a simple fix now rather than a complete overhaul but no one wants to listen to me ...oh well i get my liscence on july 14 so stay off the roads also ordered my door soleniods should be here tomarrwow. My brother garduates high school tomarrow too! heres him(left) and me (right) at his last motorcylce race

ok now im going to be riding lower by the time i have my liscence. Cant wait to hear it scrape for the first time my uncle was like why do you want to be so low it'll only make driving it real shitty, but i am going to be real happy with it! im gettting my tires in the mail probably next week and then the spindles around the same time. So i might do my ball joints if they need it. My birthday is tomarrow

well i learned a valuable lesson today. dont do thnings the hard way when theres a really easy way to do it ... I installed one of my healight eybrows that my gf got me for my b day and i took the entire drivers side assembly out and took it all completly apart and cant get it back togther( not that i dont know how i cant get everything to stay while i put the clips back in) so while being very frustrated i tried the other side. undid the screw at the bottom holding the ring and pulled a few clips from the ring and poped it in...done! that was easy now i have to go back and finish the drivers side. i shouldn't have done it...oh well

drove my 73 out on the roads today for the first real time..Came back real frustrated. My tach was going all crazy the entire time, I think i need a clutch, It idled really high for some reason and got REALLY hot. So pretty much ran like absolute shit and all kinds of weird noises were coming out of the motor. So im going to be rebuilding it for sure now after what was in the oil,it sucks im pretty mad right now but thats life...

I wish my 135's would come soon should be here within the next few days. Have my spindles now so im just waiting...I also go a breast plate. Once i get my kads on i think im going to put a stock doghouse shroud back on and some stock cylinder tin. Rebuilt the kads today too. Just need linkage and they are good to go. only a few weeks till i get my liscence 3 weeks 1 day to be exact

talked to my buddy today and he told me that hes real good buddys with clyde berg and said he will take my motor down to him to have it looked at and fixed for DIRT CHEAP as long as he can have it for a little while to work on it in his spare time. So im going to be pulling it here within a few days. Sold my carbs so i can afford to pay for it. So hopefully i'll have a real strong running motor by the end of august...
