we pressed my ball joints out tonight. going tomarrow to put the new ones in. Got most of my tin primed then painted. Looks OK. waitiing for the breast plate primer to dry then going to finish the black on that and call it a night. Going in for a second interview tomarrow at a shop. Hopfully they hire me so i can start bringing in some more cash. so my spindles should be all said and done the day after tomarrow ( i dont even know what today is [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/funny.gif[/img] ) im pretty happy. And i called and confirmed that my motor will be absolulty done and ready to be picked up sat. So sat night hopfully i can work on assembling it to make it complete and ready to put back in [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/Dancing.gif[/img]

well had my first offical work day today doing my training and that fun stuff. Getting my motor on SAT!!!! got my motor yesterday. man we were in the car like 5 hours total but it was worth it. I dont know how but im really really freakin dehydrated. and have had the worst headache for a few days so im sitting around doing nothing and sleeping. get my liscence friday [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/Dancing.gif[/img] hopefully im feeling better by then. well back to sleep till i have to go to work at 2:30

been working on my front end today got my drivers side done.Kinda stuck on the pass side right now. i'll make a question in the cutting board. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/funny.gif[/img] my shit will be slammed! i lowered it down and it was still going when it stopped on the jack so im sure it'll be about 3/4- 1/2 an inch lowe off the jack and about another inch lower on top of that with the 135's on. heres a few pics

well its payday. I diddnt have time to get my check today so tomarrow morning i can DRIVE MY SELF [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/Dancing.gif[/img] to the bank and put it in and maybe next week i can afford all my clutch stuff. my bug is lonley right now...hopefully by the first of august im going to have it on the road. Thats pushing it but im tryin.

got some ignition and clutch stuff oredered from cip1 yesterday, should be here in a few weeks....looks like it wont be done by the time i go back to school. oh well no use in rushing it.

ok now. I found my flywheel lock finally and took the old clutch off my old motor. It doesnt look to bad. I could've reused it for a while but its to late i already got my kennedy pressure plate and stock disk w/solid center orederd. (thanks for all the clutch info on the phone nickster! [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/Dancing.gif[/img] ) pulled off the old crank pulley and cleaned it up and put it on the new motor. I still need oil lines and stuff for the new one and some other little crap like plugs, wires, rotor, got a cap and need to grab a couple filters and some oil next payday. I have to go back to school on the first [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cry.gif[/img]

went and picked up a new throw german out bearing and threw it in. Man i was surprised about how much better quality the new one was compared to the old'n. Now im going to be making an engine stand so i can assemble it all up and get it all ready. Getting real stoked about throwin it in

built an engine stand today that mounts to a work bench. Hopfully its strong enough. It took me like 3 or 4 hrs to do it so i'll be pissed if it breaks [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/funny.gif[/img]

have my clutch on now and my bug is pretty much really tready for that thing in there. The guy helping me with my fire up and cam break in and all that told me it would be better to put a stock carb on the motor for the initial fire up rather thatn chance it with the kads becasue i dont even know if they will work. So once i get paid on firday i can go get a rebuild kit and rebuild one of my carbs. Oh and summer break is almost over [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cry.gif[/img] i go back to school on the first. have my motor in and running. working and going to school so i have not that much time to work on it and even less to be on here. Once i get the motor all fine tuned i need to figure out whats up with my front end. Ever since i put my spinldes on my drivers front tire binds real bad or rubs on something and i dont knonw what it is so im going to rip it all aprat and try and see wtf it is! i want to drive to school

drove the bug today to school. Got pulled over in my 2 mile trip too( fuzz) who would think a stinger's too loud and bumpers are needed. i need an alignment really bad. I have some crazy pos camber in my front wheels. so im not going to drive it till thats done. Joel Mohr is going to set the kads up on the motor too on tuesday hopefully to!

well my appt. for my carbs was cancelled till this wed. I finally found out what was goin on with my front end. The spindles were rubbing the inside of my wheels. They gauged the fuck out of them. So i got some stock wheels and put my 135's on and the doesnt rub. But one wheel is bent and it wont let the tire hold air so im going back tomarrow to get that tire on another wheel. Im just wasting my money :mad: heres a few pics.

got the kads on today ! they are so awsome! i love the linkage on them too(scat) its such a better improvement over the 30/30 that was on it. Better throttle responce way better exhaust tone! it is nuts it has a real deep rumble instead of the high pitch the other carb had. Pics tomarrow when it is light probably.

man i havent been on in a while cuz my compuetr sucked. Latley i put in a new master cylinder, bled my brakes, and did some other stuff like that. Just been cruisin it and working alot. never have any free time anymore it kinda sucks. I might be getting a 68 here next week. Its pretty clean he wants 1300 for it but is movinng in 8 days so in 7 im going over there and offering him 800 for it. Im sure he'll take it and then i'll take some parts off my 73 like the front end and stuff and put it on that and cruise that bitch and work on the 73 for a while. So thats it for now

been working on my bug in auto. put on my traction bar agian, lowered the ass more. Not raked anymore just strait out slammed . finally found out what the red button on my dash was. that was my line lock button but it diddnt work so i put a new switch on it and it works now. Im ganna have to try it out. need some new rear tires. As for my volkstruck project its pretty much a lost cause now until i get the time to work on it.

put some 6x9's in the back of the bug. A little better for when i dont want to hear the stinger( although most of the time i have the radio off and the sound of my motor is the best) been hanging out with our vw club alot. got a new front fender. put on a new pulley, tinned my motor up some more i think im going to run some 195/65's because my 215's rub my fenders right now. Or i just might put some 165's back on so i can have some fun spinning em. I need to get on here more i am like once a week, im a busy man
