man its been a while...put some 165's on the back i like them so much better. aligned it in auto the other week. just been cruising it mostly. Keep getting pulled over though for a bunch of bs fix it stuff. i diddnt think people would mind much about the bumpers and crap not being there. for some reason my brake lights are coming on when i dont have the brakes on and turning off when i push on em :confused: so something else to fix. oh well

painted my front wheels black w/ grey outsides. Looks bad ass. got some monroe MA750 air shocks for the front. put em on and took the hardware out of my beam and i still have about 1.5" of clearance (beam) air all the way down so i want to fiurge out how to get it down more.i still plan on using bags when i get the money. Now its the ghetto only adjust with a compresser at my house i need to notch my springplates bad. heres some pics from the other day before the shocks

wow no update in a while. well my beam ened up snapping off on the left side on the upper and lower tube so theres a lesson in that one! dont narrow beams from the ends!!! [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/FreakinSmiley.gif[/img] i fixed all the clutch and everything. shaved the decklid all up smooth now. need to use a little filler and primer it now. ordered a 5" beam from kcw got one on sale. the one im building is taking a long tim i need some help and everyone that can is alwys busy when im not ( working 10 hr days and im only 16! [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/funny.gif[/img] ) beam should be here next week at the lastest so by new years i wanna be drivngin it hopefully [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/driving.gif[/img]

got my beam [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/Dancing.gif[/img] painted it. cleaned my steering box up need new tie rod ends amd to install the upper arms in the beam then bolt the rest of everything up and align it and boo yah! [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/Dancing.gif[/img]

well beam is installed everything on but waiting for inner tie rod ends and everyone is out and the vw shop is closed till tomarrow so waintg on that. have the tires on and it on the ground now need to figure out how to get it lower. its about as low as i had it before so hopefully once the susp. breaks in it goes down a little.

well its been a long long time since ive been on here. Miss it but ive been working non stop 40 + hours a week and going to school full time. im a real busy guy now days. sold the bug to a local kid its cool i still see it every morning. I miss er but she went to a good home. i baught a new car a 2000 cavilier. Its really nice only 53,000 og miles. owned by an old man regularly serviced at the dealer one owner. perfect ext./ int. Real happy with it and it is very very reliable. im already saving up for another dub. ganna be looking for an all og early rag to build a hoodride or i want a ghia vert or early square so im kinda looking for the right project. but other than that im out of a vw...it sucks but at least im in the samba classifieds lookin haha

well figured i come give an update. stil witout a bug and wanting bad to sell my cavi to get one but i have to resist. founf a 66 in a back yard i want to go inquire about. man i miss it bad i work on bugs still at leat a couple times a week so i dont loose it but im getting away from my volksrod roots i need to cut something up soon! got a 83 westy. hopfully picking it up this coming weekend. it is so bad ass. im going to have alot of fun with it. also went to the classic today and saw some of the members rides. fuck the boxrod is bad ass...

alrighty now. i got a 58 bug!
its real nice mostly og except for the hood....and a few little things. i love it. sits at stock height for now on real white walls. has a 40 horse in it that scoots along quite nicely...i need to get a roof and deck lid rack for it soon! and maybe i might hide a stero in it. but im glad to be back daily driving an acvw!

Well 9 or so years later I'm back updating this thing. Funny looking through old posts from when I was 14-16 haha. Since then I have gotten married, had a few kids, went through a few houses and a lot of cars. Currently I am building a daily 61 sedan and just picked up a 64 shell that I'm going to build a volksrod from. Thursday I picked up a donor shell and started the chop. As of now I have the a and b pillars tacked in just need to get the rear window lined up and finish her up.
