Just wanted to say hey from Calgary Alberta Canada!
Been trying to decide in which direction to go with my 61 Beetle and been leaning towards ratrod but probably not to the extreme that you have here .
My Beetle is red now but I am going flat black/matblack on the exterior and keeping it red with ivory on the inside...kind of going with what I have because I'm not a rich person!
Although I do have a brand new 2332cc Bernie Bergmann porche fan shroud engine to be installed!!

Holy crap...been over half a year, but I'm posting again! I have ripped out and sold my 1600cc duelport engine last summer and finally have the kafar brace that I need so I can now look at installing my monster engine.
I've preped and flat blacked my engine compartment and need to put the kafar brace in.
Been , yet again, many many years and man how things changed!!!
One divorce later and my red 61 in now Matte black , 2332cc installed with rancho street tranny , front disc brakes with an extra 2 inch drop spindles on and already adjustable beam, 5.5 wide rims up front and 7 inch wide rims in the rear!
