Default Hello all

My name is Dave. I have been reading the forum for quite a while just trying to learn stuff. I have a 65 bug which I will be working on. Not sure where I will wind up but I will be striping her down to the pan and going from there. She does run but the engine needs a rebuild and the pans need a bit of work. I did pick up a 68 without an engine for backup. Once the temps get over 20 I'll get back in the garage.

Default Little steps

Well it got up to 51 out today. I almost put on shorts I finally got some work started. Got the hood and trunk lid off. front bumper off. Removed a ton of crappy wiring off, headlight buckets, started to remove stuff attached to the dash. Taking a bit of a break then going to try to get the front fenders off. I figure I will be going with new wiring and upgrade to 12 volt. Anyone have any ideas for upgrading the wiper set up? Was thinking of using something more modern with adjustable wiping. I'm the only guy in my town with a bug. So everyone is out walking and being entertained by the guy with tons of ink and very limited movement trying to contort myself to get to some nuts and bolts.
