Re:: progress

the 56 is now cut and buffed. that is alot of work.

Jimmy is finishing paint on the front fenders, deck and hood.

got the new tires mounted on the powdercoated smoothies.
135s and 165s

mounted up the new ragtop vinyl

this is what she looks like tonight, this is all the way down with air out of the airbeam and shockwaves.

the glass is going in next, the popouts have new seals.

been a busy weekend.

guess I could take some more.

perhaps of the stuff that is not there.

interior is still up in the loft, motor is on the stand.
the nitrogen system is on the shelf.
the stainless trim and bumpers.....in boxes.

I will take shots when there is something to see.

am really looking forward to seeing the pea green interior in a black oval.

dont plan to see one like it at one of the shows.

I like the look of white wall tires.

I did a bugselecta of a black oval.

wide whitewalls with white rims and caps.................naaaaa too much white
wide whitewalls with black rims and caps...............hmmmm nice

but I already powdercoated the smoothies in white.

black walls with white rims and caps............nice

bugselecta saved the day.

oh............I like the big logo caps that I got from Grumpy.

here is a before photo.

she was rattle can black. had the wrong seats. and a running 1600 DP that is still daily driving in a 64 13 window.

notice that there is no ragtop yet, and sitting stock height.

got the roof clip off a 63 baja picked up from Kremy

the rest of the 63 went to Jon....and he parted out to many others.
