Maryland VW Cruise
We had a VW to our empanada food trailer. This was last Saturday. Harford Euros were a big help. The next one will be bigger. I'll post the next date, soon.

pending weather, I'm hoping to have my pulley shims adjusted so I stop throwing belts when I shift out of 2nd..
if i can make that happen this week, I'll see what I can do about getting up there, that's only about an hour away! :)

Have you considered just going from first to third and skipping second?

lol, that might attract the attention of the people with fancy lights on their cars.. as it is, i just got a ticket dismissed for doing 48 in a 30 because I was new to the area, and said I was using downhill momentum to prepare for the immediate uphill battle that follows that slope.. lol
25-30mph is really hard to do in my car, either i'm at like 3-3500rpm in 2nd, or 1-1500rpm in 3rd.. lol

Re: Maryland VW Cruise
loosened the strap on my alternator and was able to pull hard and get the alt and fan shroud to shift rearward about an 1/8th of an inch.. Belt seems to be a bit more vertical now.. hopefully that solves it.
Wife is gonna be busy next saturday, but I'll be there!
Is there an address or will it be obvious when I get there? Never been to aberdeen before..

Re: Maryland VW Cruise
416 W Belair Ave, Aberdeen 21001
Hope to see you there. Our trailer is the small orange one. We are doing an other event earlier at Tractor Supply also in Aberdeen. So we may roll up the same time as the cars. Hopefully we'll be set up before everyone shows.

Re: Maryland VW Cruise
I’ll try to swing by saturday. Going to Oktoberfest Friday evening in Delaware so I may need some fried food to calm the belly by then. Don’t kick me out if I’m in a BMW! That’s all I have now ;)

Bugula, you safe from today's events?
All signs are pointing to me being there Saturday

As for the shooting in Aberdeen. We're all good. It was in an industrial complex and we actually handle lunch at one of the factories, only sometimes. Glad we weren't there today.

Re: Maryland VW Cruise
If you are nearby and didn't make it out to this, you missed out! John and his wife are great peoples and their empanadas are excellent!
Hopefully nothing interferes with me being able to go to future meets!
