newbie from Cali.

So I'm the newbie from So. Cal, I've been visiting this site for years and never got around to becoming a member so here I go. Ive always loved classics but bought my first '64 bug when I was 15 from my ex girlfriend who didn't want it because she thought " it didn't look cool enough". I sold it like an idiot and wanted one ever since, I have a '74 super now and am doing what I can with the little money I have to polish my pretty little penny up. I don't have much experience working with cars but I have always worked on them myself as best as I can. I'm determined to chop the top and extend the front end. help, advice, and criticism will be great at this point. Thanks
