I'll fix all that once it warms up, I'll be sure to take a few pictures when done

Cool, how did you design the drop plates? I was looking tonight and it doesn't look like there's room. I'm tempted to cut the mounts on the spring plate and sliding them up and re welding them.

So here's what I came up with, figured out the angle that the mounting points need to be at and made a masonite templete. Now I'm going to cut and re weld the mounting holes at the proper location. Should get me in the neighborhood of 3" drop.

Photobucket is being a bitch right now or I would upload the pics I have. These aren't mine, but I did them the same way.

I like how you did yours, but you have a swing axle correct??

I have an IRS & it's not the same, I had to move mine in a slight arch so it all bolted together, I'll look for pics of it & try to post them in the next few days

Thanks, no I have Irs that's why I put the angle in so it didn't bind when I bolt it up.

Ok, at first I looked at the pictures that jkien65 posted thinking those spring plates were yours, but after reviewing all the pics again I see yours are from an IRS
I just need to grind away some metal here & there so it stops hitting the spring plate stops as I mentioned earlier, as well as lower the bottom shock mounts so the shocks don't get ruined from bottoming out all the time

Ohhhhhh that makes sense now!

I think I might actually cut the stops off completely and do a mini C channel or something along those lines so the rear control arms have some where to go. Otherwise I'll never get the pan to the ground and the body between the wheels. That seems easier than doing a torsion bar raise, but time will tell.
