Seen this one before, anyone know who owns it ?

As I recall, that one was built for some kind of build off competition? Pretty sure I have other pictures of it, just need to find them.

I know you guys are seasoned Volksrodders and while I've been messing around with VWS for years I'm still clueless to a lot of the serious custom stuff.

Is it safe to presume that with a body drop you have to limit suspension movement otherwise you'd wreck the body on a big bump? Despite there being (in theory) plenty of available suspension movement unlike lowering with adjusters/rendered torsion bars etc.

If ANYTHING, I'd trim back the front apron. (And maybe a slightly taller rear tire) Other than that, WWWWHHHEEEEEE!!!!!!:t humbsup:

Yes, some people have done similar mods,
to maintain the stock ride.

Also notice, this is a swing axle.
Serious lowering would give goofy camber.

I assumed he had raised the trans.
Instead he lowered just the body.
