I'm Steve McKinzie (McKustoms). I am 45 years old and live in Portland, OR. I work for the Albertsons Distribution center as a receiving clerk. I like, and used to have a few old hotrods and bugs. Just getting back into it. I bought a 62 ragtop bug to build a v-rod. I wanted it chopped. Later found an already chopped 60 that was an old drag bug and bought that. Sold the 62 rag. Want it to be chopped, dropped, and louvered. Gonna run the old ford wires. Will post a few pics as it comes along. This is what I'm starting with.

Changing front clip for one with stock dash and fender wells. Putting in new floorboards. Cut the x roll bar from the doors so I can get in easier.
Also making front end extender. 10 1/2 inches long and lowers 2 inches.

Was a little too tall, if there is such a thing. So I took out a few inches.

Well sold the bug a few years back. Just found it again. Thinking about picking it up from the guy.
Here it is now.
