ok heres a update rear quarters are tacked inplace still need to square everything up and try and figure out what to do with the gap at the bottom of the quarter in frt of the rear wheels tomarrows another day

Hello Guys
had a couple of hours to kill today so i finished cutting 8 3/4" out of the tail gate and got the outer skin to fit just need to finish welding up the rest of the bed so i can strt the body work. also got some bad news today the shop im renting has some new owners and i have 6 weeks to finish it up WTF to do now and move 10 yrs of hot rod parts and a complete bodyshop oh well it was time for a bigger shop any way

Nice work. I really like the 'coupe' concept. The use of the fenders make the top appear very VW'esk.

Umm I dont think thats gonna look right.

I think you should trash the S10 sheet metal and maybe just get some doors and make the bed sides thats way. Let it flow with the cars body lines not change into something totally different.

I think the roof is off to a great start. but the Bed is not working .

thats what we are here for to come up with something diffrent a (custom if you will ) and to piss off the purists .ive seen several diffrent ways on here and i dont think their is a right or wrong way to do a custom vw its all in the eye of the owner .we are all on here to learn from each other and out of all the trucks on here i have yet to see a bed that fallowed the orgnal body lines sorry if you dont think it will work but i still have a few tricks you have not seen yet so stay tuned and thank you so much for your input
