OB You gonna be at the Lakefair hot rod show Friday? I'm gonna try and make it out. I'd like to shake your hand and pick your brain if you're there.

Well another long weekend in the books, I put a little over 300 miles on the car going to the Vintage meet followed up by a photo shoot at almost the same location as the show. Good guys this weekend and Portland next. Hope to see some of you guys out there!

Does this mean that the Good Guys now allow 'ferrin cars? I was turned away a few years ago and haven't been back to their shows.

Ive been seein VW's at Good Guys Shows for years... it's more of a '64 and prior thing... if your bug is too new, they won't allow it at some shows. Although there's always a ton of 72 chevy trucks around here... even when they say 64 and prior... Maybe it's really 72 and prior... Hell... something like that...

Hey Spencer, I have a family reunion conflict on Sunday for PIR. If you want to meet up afterwards or on your way north, let me know. Should have the Coupe back home by 2-3PM Sunday.

I have been driving it and just never could pull it down to do all the little details. I built a vert last winter so I would have a car to take to the shows when this was apart.
