Well, it's been a few. My wife and I were trying to save money, adopted a baby girl (who's now 6) and just last year bought a house. Needless to say VWs were not at the forefront of my responsibilities or interests for a period of time. Our once shiny super beetle convertible sat unloved, in the elements, rotting away. I wasnt sure I even wanted to keep it. In the process of moving the last bits of stuff from the old house I decided to pressure wash the car. Though the battery is dead and the tires rotted out beneath her there was still a sparkle left. We fell in love again. Hopefully soon we shall hear her roar to life and scare the neighbors. My daughter is very handy, shes terrific at creating things and has a very mechanically minded brain. She said she'll help me bring our ince loved VW back to life. She said with glee "Can we start tonight?!?". Gotta love her enthusiasm. So hear she is, all cleaned up with two tires from a former baja bug I the rear. (I think I might keep that size tire)
