I've posted already but really didn't do an intro. My name is Dave (username DaveB) I('m an MRI tech in Pinehurst NC and retired USAF. I'm currently finishing up a four year project, as taken way to long, 66 Bus, that my wife named Doghouse (want to guess why), with a Bullet nose and T4 upright motor. Here's a link to some pics:

I've been by the bug to build a Volksrod, so I'll be looking for an IRS bug as the bases. Think I want to do something like the coupster or more leaning toward the pickup look, I'll more than likely go pickup look with a removable, or Bus based top.
While we're at it I've some questios about ideas: would I post then in the cutting board section?
