I just wanted to introduce myself. I do not currently have a VW; actually I am beginning the process of searching for a good roller to work with in Texas. I own another vehicle which has taken my time and resources, and show truck, but have decided it has been taken far enough and a VolksRod looks like a great, cost effective, project. I have already learned allot and have a ton of ideas from this site. The front engine project I saw really intrigues me, but I have allot to research and learn before I am ready to start hacking, not to mention I need to find a car and clear a space in the garage. But as many dream, I hope to have it on the road someday.
