Just reminding,<span style="color:red">this server has a limited amount of harddrive space.</span> So DO NOT use the upload image feature for granted. If you want to attach a picture that is already on a website do not upload the same picture here, link it here instead or use this code instead:
Code:
[img]POST-IMAGE-LINK-HERE.JPG[/img]
If you don't know the link to the picture you want, right-click on the picture then "properties". Then copy the "address" shown and use that link.

Also off-subject threads are fine. But too much of the same off-subject threads is too much. Just continue on one of the past threads instead of starting a 6th new thread of the same off-subject discussion (hint hint: ricer threads).

Thanks Nick, I'm sure that we can find something better to talk about than Rice-a-roni!

Agreed.
Just put it in the sh*t thread. That's about all the off topic we need. That's what I do... :D

Nothing wrong with offtopics, but something about starting the same off-topic discussion on a new thread instead of continuing from one of 4 or more of the same topic to choose from.... I usually stick my stupid stuff on the SH!T thread.

Also Steve pays monthly fees for the server's usage and drive space, he didn't choose the cheapest option neither so we can have a bigger space and traffic. So I'd like to see us use that extra space for usefull stuff insted of hundreds of images that's already on the net or off-topic stuff. Eventually we may run out of room to upload any more picts so uploading may have to stop or change when it does so keep that in mind.

Thumbs up

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>Eventually we may run out of room to upload any more picts so uploading may have to stop or change when it does[/b][/quote]Is it possible to delete pics from the server after a certain period of time? That is how it is done on the HAMB.Ideally it would be automated, just set and forget.Keep in mind I don't know Shit about computers.
[img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif[/img] Or much of anything else, depending who you ask.

I can do the "set and forget" thing, but it would be nice to be able to keep the old posts up for future searches on certain topics. I can't just set it for the picture uploads. It would delete the entire thread that went with it also.

The only other way is for me to go in and individually delete each picture on server one by one... if I wanted to keep the threads alive. (i.e. pain in my ass)

So here's our choices...

1) A whole bunch of pictures of hondas with spoilers, up for 2 months...

2) Or an archive of what we're here for, up forever.

I like #2. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif[/img]

We (moderators) can delete replies on any posts, but I think that'll still keep the image on the server since it's already uploaded. I think we still have plenty of storage room to use for awhile...as long as it's not abused.

Yeah, we've got plenty of storage room left... but like Nick said... as long as we don't abuse it.

When we start seeing more Honda "ricer" pics than we do VW project updates, me thinks... it's time for someone to go out to the garage. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/funny.gif[/img]
