Re: Bulldog's Choptop Updates
You need to get a Mack truck Bulldog hood ornament and put on there. I have one I am gonna put on mine, but I thought it would really go well with your build and project name.

Re: Bulldog's Choptop Updates
French the bulldog and put some lexan over it.
That didn't sound right.

Re: Bulldog's Choptop Updates
Had a great day in the garage today!
I'd love to show y'all some pictures, but none were taken.
And that's because absolutely nothing got done other than some good BSing with Bulldog and a visitor all the way from Florida. Fernon is a really cool guy despite what everyone says! It was great to hang with you today.
I even gave him a new idea for his car, now to see if he will take on the challenge...

this sounds like almost everytime I go into my garage!
Since I have my old laptop out there, I wind up just drinking beer, smoking cigarettes and bullshitting on IRC while listening to music..
although, I am slowly getting the engine out of my bike.. I would try and get some more sandblasting done to the bugs engine compartment, but I'm normally out there from about 11pm to 2 or 3am.. don't think my neighbors want the air compressor running during those hours..

Re: Bulldog's Choptop Updates
Rob & Matt, First off I want to thank the both of you for taking the time out of your day and letting me hang with you guys, I had a great time BS'n with you guys and the Volksrod is really looking nice, you guys have done a great job with that car, like I was telling you there is a lot on that car that nobody will ever even notice or appreciate the amount of work that went into getting it to that point.
I have to say I hate you guys for that idea...
You know I'm just dumb enough to try it...
Oh and by the way I am sitting in a Starbucks typing this...
I know you guys would get a kick out of that...
Once again Thank You for everything and if you are ever in the Dirty South don't hesitate to stop on by.

Re: Bulldog's Choptop Updates
Bulldog, this is one of my all time favorite builds. I think it will almost be a shame to see this car finished. I've been out of the game for over 6 months and it's good to see the work progress on this car. Keep it up bro.

Re: Bulldog's Choptop Updates
Its coming along. I hope to get it on the road this coming year one way or the other. Trans raise was cleaned up a bit, SS fuel lines run through the tunnel, new SS brake and clutch lines run as well. Sounds like I may have an affordable option to powdercoat the pan. that wasnt the plan but cheap and easy so why not!?
Couple more pics:
