Default im back

hey everyone, my project stalled about 4-5 years ago and i got discouraged, and havent been on the forum... but im back... a divorce is behind me and im looking forward to getting back to the bug...

need to save some funds to have some more metal work done, order some more parts etc. probably wont be finished for a year or two but ive regained my passion to complete it.

nice to be back...

Well gee,

Since you have been gone, tons of newbies have moved in!

Don't mind me, I am one of the new guys....

Awesome that you are "re-motivated". Divorce is a bummer, no matter how or why, but the good thing is there is life after. Looks like you have picked a good therapist A nice SB project!

I too will watch this one!

thanks guys, i was getting discouraged and considered giving up on the project.... im glad i didnt.

some of the things i was planning on doing myself like interior etc may not be possible to the changes ive done.

but id rather pay someone to do it right than be unhappy later.

have all my suspension parts
topline maxx struts
new tie rods
sway bars
plus all the parts for the Porsche 944 turbo break swap. (although im not sure i can handle that on my own)
60's tailights
crossdrilled rotors

need to get it rolling and then decided next steps.

get it in the shop , have them work on the metal work?
invest in more parts? (fenders, electrical, guages, engine)

should be getting a bonus and will have about $6,000-$8,000 to spend...

suggestions on next steps?

A slammed, chopped Super...Woof! Take things a step at a time to keep her rolling...a garage, or in my case a carport, scattered with parts can be daunting (you can guess how I know) And of course there's the eternal VR'er question, Is she done yet?
