Well, it keeps getting better. This bullshit furlough thing is totally fucked. First our illustrious governor furloughs all Maryland state workers. They are shutting down the gov't 5 days and then deducting those days from our salary scale over the next ten months. Then we get up to 5 additional furlough days depending on your salary range. In that plan ended up with 9 days off without pay. Where it gets fucked up is my agency is 100% federally funded. The state saves nothing shutting us down and actually has to return the money they don't spend to the federal government. Everyone in my office is 100% Federally budgeted, funded and managed. The state only pays us. We've got a backlog of almost 12,000 social security disability claims and over 22,000 pending, which is actually far better than some states.

So they back pedal, exempting us from the furlough days part of the fucked up equation, Because we need to be in there handing out free government money you know, but we still had to shut down for the 5 "salary adjustment days" they are deducting from our pay rate for the next 10 months.

Now they come back and say, OH NO, your office is NOT to shut down for those 5 days, you are now considered "essential personnel" and MUST remain open because of the backlog, BUT, they are still taking the 5 days of pay from us that all other "essential" State employees also loose, but we get no future individual days off without pay. Everyone else gets at least 5 days off, albeit unpaid.

Fucking assholes. Is there such a thing as a politician that has ever run a fucking profitable business? Quit fucking giving free money to people that don't do shit for this country.

I was running a little late for work this morning. I got a $264 speeding ticket for going 80 in a 60. It was out in the middle of BFE at 4:40 in the morning, no traffic at all. Then the cop took 25 minutes to write the ticket. Another cop rolled up and they were standing back there shooting the shit. I hate local cops, they're all douchebags. If it would have been the highway patrol I would have got my ticket and been gone in a few minutes. Then, the same cop passed my closer into town. So, I let him get about 20-30 car lengths ahead and maintained that distance. He was doing 75 in a 55 and slowed to about 70 coming into town where the road gets curbs and the limit drops to 45. Fucking hypocrite bastard. Not to mention we did hit a little traffic at that point and he was all up this guys ass and had to constantly hit his brakes. I had a cop for a next door neighbor for a few years and had three in the neighborhood. Every one was a total dick. I know people here are cops or know cops or whatever and won't agree with me but I flat out hate cops. I'd say the vast majority are genuine douchebags. Plus, we have a 4% surcharge on our electric bill so the cops can use cop cars for personal use.

You got lucky they didnt take your license and get stuck with a $500.00-$800.00 ticket. Around here they do. You should have got up to 88 MPH and went back in time.

The bypass for the Ford stuff is in the Ebrake light!!! Put your ebrake on just one click (just enough to turn the dash brake light on) and it bypasses (overrides) the computer. Had the escort way over 110mph. Before it would bog out around 100mph.

I was going to buy the chip for it when I first got it but the "best" one only added something like 10hp, 20 lb ft of torque, no mph gain and got rid of the limiter. For the 5.4 it gains 30hp. My brother has a guy that will custom make me a chip but I'm over it now. I would like a little more pulling power though.
