Volksrods.com Timing Tag. auction
Re:: Limited Edition.
Started out making a Limited edition of these "Timing Tags". For the beginners I will just make two of them.
One will go straight to our Prezz over here and the other one I had thought of selling in an Auction on here for the full benefit for the forums.
Here's a preview of the first one finished.
Edit:
The second one in the making. The first attempt failed when I transfered the Press 'n Peel toner but the second attempt worked. (As usuall, the first ever works fine but then if I try reproduce something the I allways have to do remake the second one atleast once... )

Re: Volksrods.com Timing Tag.
Wow! You were fast! This thread was supposed to be just for preview, but guess we'll start the Auction from here.
Maybe someone with more power here could Sticky this thread then and we'll just let Steve decide when the Auction ends.

Here's an other photo of it.

Re: Volksrods.com Timing Tag. auction
Wow Kristian, that turned out GREAT!
Thank you SO much... what a work of art. This support is leaving me truly speechless and humbles me, knowing how lucky I am to be surrounded such great folks.
Again, I sit here not knowing what to say.
Some lucky kat is really gonna dig hanging this one-of-a-kind piece on their firewall or dash. That is just some awesome work.
Thank you so much Kristian.

Maybe the black isn't paint.

Not sure this is fair....2 against 1.
Jason, we can work something out for your artwork. Let's keep it straight bids....otherwise I can just sit here at $150 and let you keep adding to it.
Thanks for the offer, but let's keep my bid at $150 and see if I have to add to it.

Re: Volksrods.com Timing Tag. auction
I'm not trying to take away from the auction..... Please keep the bids coming
The auction has exceeded my available funds...... I have no idea how much time and effort is involved in making these tags but......(in a begging pleading voice) Could you consider making some more some time in the future that could be sold through the web site (Site could make some money like the other merchandise sales) Maybe even do it as a limited edition of 25 or so. Then I and others could have a chance at getting one and it wouldn't become a full time job for you making them.....

My spare time is pretty thin right now, but I do have almost all the materials to make something like this. I like what Hebster has done and I like that it will be a two of a kind. But in the future, I may be able to do something that is a little more mass produced for the general public.

Re: Volksrods.com Timing Tag. auction
I dont have the sparetime myself to start massproducing these even in a small series like 25 pcs or so but I would gladly send you the pattern so you could even make the exactly same tags if you want.

Re: Volksrods.com Timing Tag. auction
Closeup of the volksrod after the before the printer toner is washed off with Acetone.
The different colour on the door is from the Permanent Marker pen as I almost always have to fix some spots when I have transfered the pattern to the plate. Permanent Marker's are suitable for this. CD markers are even better.
