I wanted to wait untill I had some decent pics to post in my intro but I might as well get it out of the way.

I grew up with my first 3 cars being air cooled Beetles/ Baja and then moved on to water coolers.
I still have my Corrado VR6 turbo but was wanting something RWD with chrome and couldn't get myself to do Japanese Nostalgic cars (even though I think they look awesome).
So I decided to go with a old Ghia and swap a Subaru EJ20K JDM motor in it.

I have the motor and car but am saving for the right trans to hold the power I plan to put down. If any of you have a lead on a built trans please let me know.
I may go that route or use a Subi trans with flipped ring gear. It all comes down to $$$$.
For now I'll get a 6" narrowed beam/spindles lower the rear, upgrade the brakes and roll it like it is.

Anyway thats enough for now and I hope I can find a home here. If anyone has a GTG in the mid west please let me know.

It looks like my project is going to be moving forward. I just picked up some new parts to get this thing rolling and able to handle the h.p without breaking.
Rhino case, Super Diff, H/D side plate, 3.88 R&P

Motor and trans are in the car but as usual it's not going as fast as I wanted. Some problems happened with the exhaust and IC pipes and I'm looking into someone else to weld/fab them up.

Fairly boring but here are a few more pieces of the puzzle in case someone wanted to see.
