Flower Mound, TX resident, n/o DFW Airport. Lucky enough to have 4 car pole barn for a shop( and an understanding wife), with a 1974 beetle rat rod project and a 1973 beetle Cal Look (hard to forget where you grew up) project. 73 is nearing completion, and may end up my daughters car at college.
Completed 1961 Willys Overland 4x4 wagon is my once a week to work and weekend driver. It ended up too nice to trash off road just yet. I have another jeep for that purpose, when my twin sons are not running around in it. Yeah, my insurance man likes to see my payment check. I'm an ATT construction manager and 3.5 years from retirement, when the shop time will be easier to work into my schedule. I'm new to VW's, and have used the forum for tech issues, and would like to share my build with any interested fellow metal fabricators.
