looking good,
can you show how your frame is attached to the body, and how much room you have on the front interior with the motor in position.

excellent build

Thanks....
I attached the body to the frame with 3 inch angle iron and some 2x3 rectangular gussets and bolted it through the heater channel .....the plan for the firewall is for it to be on an angle instead of straight down so there is enough legroom for me and the pedals....

Actually everything has gone pretty smooth I would say the biggest pain so far was boxing in the side's of the cowl there is a lot of angles there but it wasnt too bad...

It actually was a lot easier than I thought it was gonna be I just started with the beltline that goes around the back and lined it up with the vw's body line than just trimmed down all the rest of the panels and fit them off the beltline that said though there were a lot of relief cuts I had to make to get it all lined up but it wasnt that bad...

Great tech, that will help me allot in finishing my 68BAJA when I get back from Afghanistan. I have been trying to figure out a easy way to mount the body to the frame, mine site above the frame for clearance but I think the angle iron going down the channels will work for me.

Looking good. Tell me, what kind of an angle does your engine set, front to rear? If you ste a level on your chassis to where it is level and then put a level on your intake, carb mount base, how many degrees does the engine tilt front to rear. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
