Re: Newbie building a volksrod truck
Where is the fuel tank and battery going to be located? I made a stand and put mine behind the cab over the nose of the transaxle. Room for a 10" X 10" X 32" fuel tank and battery. I have a flat bed so have the room. Pop

Re: Newbie building a volksrod truck
it would be an easy fab with some bar stock bent 90 deg. some pipe slightly larger than said stock and a spring or two! Also looks like part of a house door hinge...

Re: Newbie building a volksrod truck
I love the truck bed. Not so much the shape of the rear window, but if you like it , that's all that counts. Have fun. I would love to have it the way it is. Pop

Re: Newbie building a volksrod truck
Fab work on Ur truck - would love to photograph it when it's done but I have a vibe that it's gonna be one of the most photographed VW creations to come down the bahn in many a moon - Kudos on being a great artist and building a brilliant ride ~:0) VivaChas!

Re: Newbie building a volksrod truck
Block sanding--- I just sand until I'am sick of it and then say, that's all I'am doing and it will have to be good enough, and paint. If you don't like my paint job, I don't give a crap. Pop
