My dad has got a 72 single cab bay window vw truck, its basically sitting and rotting away, ran when he parked it, isn't in too bad of shape thinking of roding it out, my question is how strong would the curved winshield be if i chopped the roof off of it and cut the glass low and had no roof support on the winshield thanks also some pics of this done would be greatly appreciated

No support across the top of the windshield is illegal in some places.Something about safety. Commonly seen on minimalist street rods.
