Default Way Off Topic Question : '67 GT 500
Re:: Looking for old magazine articles

Does anyone recall two late '70's or early 80's articles in Hotrod magazine (as I recall) about a Canonball Run type car ..1967 GT 500 named the Blue Mistress? Do you happen to have these issues?

This Shelby had all kinds of mods including bulletproofing, 67 gallon fuel tank for a back seat, and all sorts of other gadgets on it.

Thanks

Sure not much of anything on the 'net about it! I'll check my old Hot Rods when I get a chance.

Thanks, Mk. This is a 2+ year search with no leads so far. Sure wish I would have saved those damn magazines back then!

Whoa, and it only took 6 years ? You must have REALLY wanted to find the article. Do you by chance happen to have that car ? This happened to me with an old VW feature car I picked up a while ago. I got lucky though. Found the information in a very short time. Glad you finally locked on.

That reminds,me on an article I read back around 91-92 about a guy who built a Vette specifically to film Area 51. Flat black, cameras front and rear, switches for the taillights so he could change how it looked at night...
