Default Volksrod truck "let me have it"

Here is what I got goin on. Figured I'd post here for some feedback. It all started as a 66' beetle.

I've done

6" chop
Rear bay clip graft
RHD conversion
Homemade oval dash
" instead of zwitter I call it the shitter"
10" beam extension
Pie cut
Custom bed "started as a 1980 f150 bed"
2" tranny raise

I think that's it lol

Here is a few pics

Got a hold of some ford rods. Gonna be headlight brackets. Took em in work and machined some plastic spacers for them so they would fit the beam tight.

Thumbs up Re: Volksrod truck "let me have it"

Looks ok but I bet it would look better in my garage.

Very nice work. How long did it take to build it? I will build a truck one day.

I had to look on another forum I have the complete build up in. I started October 23, 2011. But from about thanksgiving thru the new year I didn't get shit done. The wife and 4 kids kept me busy around the holidays. Our 4 th child we adopted and had a ton of legal crap to deal with around the same time. It should've been DONE by now BUT!!!!!!

The pic with primer was from last week. Hope to have it running and driving by June 1st for mid America's show Funfest.

Great looking truck!

I like the way the bay window rear worked in.

Got em mounted up. Fit rather nice. The plastic made em nice and tight.

Not a pile, but a really slick build.

Just puttin it out there. This will be FOR SALE or TRADE when done.

Really only wantin to trade for a Thing but I will entertain all offers. A SC early bay would spike my interest to. But either way I want it running and driving. As this will be licensed and inspected street legal ready.

Like I said just putting it out there for all the lurkers.

Thanks again for all the comments, suggestions, and feedback.

Mind the gap between the body and bed. Looks like it has an angled gap.

Idk what's so funny. I was gonna machine the plastic, give you the rods. All for shipping plus $5 to cover plastic.

I'm not laughing because you of your offer.. I'm laughing because I'm the one you borrowed the idea from..

I think that's a great deal though for the plastic bushings..
