Anyone near Coeur d'Alene Idaho?
Re:: engine tits up!
If anyone is close to Coeur d'Alene, have an engine and would like some money, my girlfriends grandpa just lost the engine in his trike. Well he knows where it is, just no Vroom. ;)
Anyway, if you're in the area and have the means to get an engine to him, he would be very grateful. You know he's a good guy because he's a grandpa on a trike! I can send you his number our send him yours and you can hash out the details.
Thanks!
PS, nice to see you all again! I'm coming back with projects (and pictures) to share!

Hey clown boy, you can't just walk in here after all this time and troll for parts. It's like spamming, which sounds a lot like spooning, which goes on a lot a Steve Meat, which.....
Where was I....?

Save it for your three ring diary (yes I read it), you knew what this was. By genetics, I was never meant to spoon with just one man.
I haven't been completely gone, I pop in every now and again. But as of now, I'm going to try and start contributing on a regular basis again (if you can call anything I've ever said contributing).

Re: Anyone near Coeur d'Alene Idaho?
So, engine got there, I personaly am a guy that mesures the head to find out the cc size, like 85.5mm 1600cc, 87mm 1641cc, ect. Now this engine came out of a "Stock" pile of bug, I rebuilt most of the engine thinking it was 1600cc from a 73, ran great and stuff... but then today I got a call telling me it was actualy a H5(1968-69 1500cc) his problem with the engine isn't that, but rather it wont accept his oil pump.
He has the autostick AH 73-74 1600cc dual port with 8mm heads.... To save my rear from any kind of debt, is there an oil pump that will fit the H5 to his extended oil pan that sits on the bottom? I've never actualy put one in sence heat up here isnt really an issue and tend to go stock for engines.
