Hello, I'm new to here, and new to air cooled VWs. Not new to auto repair tho. I'm master ASE, and master GM, and until a few years ago, I was master VW certified too. I've worked for a handful of car dealerships, including GMC, BMW, Pontiac, Buick, VW, Jeep, and Cadillac. I can fix most anything. If its fun, I make it better, if it's not fun, I can get it there. I DJ as a hobby, (gotta have my EDM. Different for a car guy, I know. I'm sure most here won't even know the acronym) I have schwinn lowrider bikes that have airbag and air cylinder suspensions, shoot fire, and drag the fenders. I've had several customs. Right now I have a full size truck with airbags, shaved everything, bodydropped, 2 stage tilt bed, half backed frame. And now a bug.
Growing up, my friends had VWs, and when my brother came home with his first bug, I wanted my own. About ten months back, here's what I bought. this is taken at the PO house.
