Not as horrible as I thought it'd be. So, would you try to make it a real "rod" or maybe something more along the lines of a Lotus Super Seven?

dave - hate to say it, but i think i'd add a windshield (sorry tobias :P ) and drive it. my guess is that there are no struts in it right now and the suspension is bottomed out, but it just looks sooo coool

I know you can't push the front suspension forward like you can on a beam front end (without major work) ... but with the lowering options available from places like Topline, I can see some pretty cool possibilities... especially with the 1302 suspension, since it can go lower than the 1303 suspension.
I don't have a project yet (only my daily driver '72) but while I've been hanging out here wasting bandwidth and checking out everybody's projects, I've been getting an idea of a Super-based Volksrod I'd like to build someday.

Here are a couple of pictures that have floated around a little bit. It is more of a custom, but it is fenderless.
