Default The Z-Rod

hello everyone!!!!!!!!!!! i am the new owner of this extremely awesome volksrod! I finally am able to post on here now. i had to remake a username and wait to be accepted but im on here now so that is all that matters. i will post more about what i have done on the zimrod tomorrow but i just wanted to let you all know that i'm not forgetting about you.

Haha thanks man!!! Ill keep it named the zimrod just because they have done a lot more work to this v dub then I would have ever done!!!!! Also zimrod sounds a lot better then zachrod. Haha :)

it is actually a genuine welcome to the site.

glad to see the rod where it will get finished. There are a lot of knowledgeable people on this site.... they are just a bit rough around the edges..... some call it rust.

I haven't taken a picture yet but I welded in two more bars to oust the metal out.



Finished Welding up the floor pans










Welded up the fender holes. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions on closing up the fender well?



Just messing around with some paint

Well on color scheme ideas..... I'm thinking on just a white with a black and red shop logo on the door for now because my father is going to use it for a pressure washing truck but as soon as he is tired of that I am thinking about something like this.......



Except red instead of blue.

I will post some sketch ideas In a couple of days..
