Go to a junkyard see if you can find a 1950's car with one on it.. take it off then

That's what I would do... if there were more junkyards around me with 1950's cars....

Started by using 1/4 inch rod..... Bent using the front tire to get started shape.... Then added runners along the drip rail crossed over using strap.......

I had been thinking about a sun visor, I just don't care for most I have seen on most VW Bugs

Since I mounted the seats in mine as low as I could, I definitely need some kind of sun visor to block the sun, especially during the evening when the sun is low in the sky & I'm headed west, my plan to deal with it is to chop the top down at least 3 or possibly 4 inches, I just need to get all the glass first, that way I can cut the top to fit the templates I'll use to have the glass made, chop it, then install the glass

I just need to plan it out so my car isn't down for more than 3 weeks

I saw a bug at Bug-a-paluza (this year or last year) that had a visor made from a hood. I looked pretty good but wasn't finished and mounted good. Just kind of rough cut and mounted with screws through it to the roof.
