Default The Pumpkin Rod

well this build is a long time coming, I 1st joined this site back in 09, I had just got a 1966 beetle that was wrecked in the frontend, and was looking for some way to save the old car, The man I got it from was ready to crush it, so I gave him scrap price and brought it home, bought a bunch of parts and then my health went to crap and the project was sold. Well I bought the old car back last week, the man I sold it to did nothing but let it sit, so after cleaning 4 years of mold and grime off it we finally get to do a little building.

this is what it looked like when I 1st started building, 5 years ago.

Slick project. This is the first time I've seen a hood like that. Very '60s Super Stock.

beams back on, pretty easy job really, now to figure out steering and brake lines, And seems I'll be running the "pro stock" hood after all, the 40 ford hood I have is for a Super, guess how I found that out, LOL!
