Re:: had a spare engine...

Well, as the title says...

I have a 2275 and a transmission to put in something. This could be fun and quick.

I might add some length to the body to keep the pan stock. More stable in a straight line!

The beauty of 'glass... cut it and add some in! Look as tome of the builds by joescoolcustoms and surfnc on the samba "kit car and fiberglass buggy" section. they has some really cool tricks for repair/redesign of old fiberglass bodies.

Just pulled a fiberfab clodhopper on a 68 pan into my garage...

I think it could look really cool to keep the pan/tunnel stock length and the body as it is. Let the front tires hang out in front of the nose.

Just trim the front fenders back a little and move the napoleon hat and the sheet metal pans back to match the body.

Simpler fabrication then lengthening the body or shortening the whole pan/tunnel/etc.

The body has been test fitted on a shorty pan. Next up, the wiring will be done on the 16th, including everything for keeping the turbo monitored...

Trailer hooked up. Pan and body secured. Seat and seatbelt in the tow rig. Ready for a cage!

Brian is stoked!

I am looking for some 15x8 steel (or aluminum) rear wheels for the buggy. The issue? I need 5x130 pattern for the rear disk brake set up.

Anyone holding a pair they would part with without my needed to sell a body part?
