I building a truck out of a body that is pretty rotted and it needs some new channels on both sides. Has someone made their own channels?

Josh77 used 1 3/4" square tube on his. Believe I've seen it elsewhere too. Think there was someone recently who used flat stock, maybe moler pickup?

Buggy guys use square/rectangle tubing all the time on the perimeter of the pan... I can't see any reason why you couldn't use them as a heater channel.
