Default Hey guys

Been a long time!
Anyone miss me??? Lol!

Well I sold the Shorty, still have the buggy, and bought another bug. This one has an autostick... My plan is to baja it. I have lots of extra parts plus extra bodies... if anyone needs a roof for a chop I've got one, come get it! I'll post that in the shit for sale...

If any of you know me or remember me, you know that my woman has no kidney function... this time has been in the hospital since Sept. She actually died and on Columbus day. Very sad hard day for me, but after 25 minutes they revived her! She didn't lose any of her brain activity which is a miracle on its own. Hopefully she'll be getting out soon and going to a rehab to get strong enough to come home! I can't wait we all miss her at home!

All of this after I had back surgery, and a hernia in my stomach... which kept me from the garage for like 2 years... now I'm back at it and can't wait to get this shit goin again!

This is going to be fun!

Glad to have you back, and my thoughts and prayers for your lady. Sherrie, my wife and partner of 36 years, finally had open heart surgery. You might recall that she actually died of sudden cardiac arrest in January of 2011. Like your lady, she's a fighter and came through with no brain damage and is now doing really well. Medical advances are happening by the minute.

Holy crap I just stick my nose in here for a minute, having been away for a long, long time and here's Shorty!

I've included Bunny in my prayers every day for the past several years and I'm glad to hear she is doing OK after that big scare ... and that you're doing better, too.

That fish tank is still bubbling away in our living room and the Koi are eating size now.

I lost a bunch of weight and got myself in better shape and have been thinking about tinkering on the trike again. My bug will soon be heading to FL and into our son's garage.

Hey guys!
Yes Dave, I'm still here!
You've gotta stop over some time soon. I'm picking Bunny up from the hospital tomorrow and my taking a week or so out of work to help her. Plus, I'll be starting to tear into the new bugs that were dropped off. I want to pull the motor out of the 69 in planning on turning into a baja, might be full fendered...

Crazy week for me, but things get better next week I hope. Love to see what you're up to.

I always liked the slammed versions.

I had been wondering what happened to you, now I know

Sounds like your lady is a fighter & a miracle as well
So glad things turned out the way they did as it sounds like it could have been much worse

I'll say prayers for you both, I know all to well about kidney problems

There isn't much that can keep me out of my garage, well when I can't raise the over head door, then I'll just hafta clear the area around the side door, or fix my garage door opener, it's one of those old ones with plastic looking worm gear that keeps stripping the teeth, I'll just make the gears out of aluminum

Glad to see ya back

Yeah, it's been a tough road. Idk if I mentioned I had 2 surgeries that kept me from the garage. Besides another endeavor that went and is going well... I'm just starting to have time to do some work here and there. I've also been doing some work on my house.

On a good note with my new project. I ended up picking up 2 full baja kits. One narrow eye, one wide eye, a set of 4 lug "baja wheels"... but, I'll be picking up a thing beam drum to drum and hopefully I'll be picking up the 3 rib trans and the thing rear trailing arms drum to drum as well to have wide 5 all around, but, then I'll need all new rims again! Lmfao! But, I guess it'll be worth it to have the better gearing, and be able to put larger tires on it.

I have the material to make a 3 inch body lift, which I'll be starting soon. Then I've gotta find a buddy to go in on a tube bender and dies with me. Lol! I'd like to make a roll cage for the buggy, the baja and all the bumpers and engine cage for baja as well. But it's money I don't have. I still need to build 2 motors for these projects.

I had 2 decent bus dropped off and the neighbor called the cops on me for having a couple unregistered "junk" cars next to my house. I wanted to keep the body of one and the chassis of the other, already had a buyer for the one body I didn't want... great! But, I ended up selling both real cheap to get the cops off my back. The one I wanted to keep had a great body almost completely pristine... it was completely stripped though. Oh well! Maybe I'll find another, in as good of shape some day. Lol not that I need it right now.
