Default roadster

this cropped up on the Volksrod FB page and it's the direction I'm leaning towards for my future build. It looks like they've used a 1303/Superbeetle curved screen frame for the back of the passenger cabin and a beetle bonnet/hood for the rear deck. Interesting that they shortened the door though.

I've run Google reverse image search and a search here for "roadster" and turned up nothing. Has anyone seen it before? Any more photos from different angles?

thanks :)

i feel like i saw that one on here a year or so ago. if i remember right it had a pretty sweet looking airbag rear suspension setup with some goofy looking lever arms. I think the guy ended up cutting off the back end at somepoint too before the project stalled out.

The body was probably set back. That's how George did it.

That's a slick trick using the sb cowl. The mismatched bolt pattern wheels would drive me nuts

but it cuts off before it morphs into a roadster...

**EDIT**
