Recycled some carpet this afternoon.
Tempted to leave it just the way it is, but I'm going to get my mother to sew up some covers for them. Canvas with a rubberized backing.

That would suck sooo bad! If it was an icy road, sure, accidents happen, but as Jimmy Buffett says, "There's no dumb-ass vaccine."
I'm glad my Coyote and 356 are kits. If I had the real things I'd never take them out!

P.S. Still feel lousy but can't sleep so I might as well check in here and do some schoolwork. Gotta write a quiz, grade some artwork etc.....

Just found this on the interwebs. Even mentions volksrods.com. Probably a repost.

awww, their moderators rejected my comment.. I didn't think to copy and paste it before I hit submit, so this will be from memory..
--------
I do not officially represent Volksrods.com, these are just my opinions. Great article (although short) but do NOT come to us asking for a step-by-step guide on building one. OUR motto is "Cut, Weld, Drive." it has been on our club products for many years now. We greatly encourage new people who are willing to do their own work and come up with new ideas, if you want to copy something, fine, but take a few minutes to search for our build threads. We will not spoon feed you and if you do show up expecting to be spoon fed, we WILL try to make you cry. There is a lot of help to be had if you do some searching on your own and can't find information, but if you just show up wanting answers you can leave. We're a tight knit family who doesn't take kindly to newbs wanting hand outs.
it was something like that.. :P
