Thumbs down Interesting and Useful Links

We should have a post that keeps all the intersting Links in one page. Kinda like the samba page. Doesn't need to be on topic but shouldn't be porn or jokes...
Well maybe the occasional but thats what the shir thread is for.

Heres one I just found.

This is a great idea, but it would be nice if there were some catagories to keep them organised a bit better. I can see this getting multiple pages quickly. We have this on the main site....
Cool Links
...not sure how much trouble it would be to have something similar on the forums so that Steve wouldn't have to constantly update a page...

I like the idea of making a separate category in the forum. I'm just concerned with it turning into more that just a listing, and having folks chiming in and cluttering up the posts. If I were to make a separate section... I'd like to keep it just that...

But fuck it... let's give it a shot. Until I get the separate section made up... keep puttin' em here for now.

That mold sucks.
What the hell kinda key overkill is that.

A simple bead key is enough.

I think some of these links don't really belong in tech pages, at least the one I posted doesn't. But I had just found it and just thought of it right then. So........

This company makes hardware thats specially designed for laminating and bonding. More of a plastics and Fibreglass thing but they would have been perfect for Grumpys underdash wire thing.
They also make inserts and weld nuts.

Anyways there are plenty of other uses for these and their other products.

Mother earth news is a serious fruitcake magazine but they have some useful articles at times. I'll never buy one though.
I guess every one has a purpose and a place.

some of the shit reminds me the Reader's Digest Back to Basics Book. That book and a couple of other things inspired my dad to move us all to an island for a couple of years, but I aint going into that shit.

My list is a little more Hot Rod/Kustom oriented.

I was looking for some weld-in housings for '59 Cadillac housings, and found them here:

http://www.wirthscustomauto.com/

They have some other cool stuff too.

And I don't think anyone has posted Mooneyes site:

http://www.mooneyes.com

Speedway motors - cool parts for the street rodder (free catalog):

http://www.speedwaymotors.com

Summit - hey, they got a free catalog too!

Cool old-school repro tires:

Here is own on how to make a bubble windshield. Its for a bike but the idea is the same: how to build the oven, using airpressure, and the template. Very similar to the how to customize taillights on the HAMB.

Hey Nick, Rob or Steve,

Can we pull this to the "I'm too lazy to search" page??

I think more people would add links if it were there.
