The dark side

Howdy all,

This looks like a great forum, and the good news for me is that I'm hopefully about to step over to the dark side. I'm based on the Central Coast of Oz, and get around aussieveedubbers.com a fair bit.

I've currently got a 76 Beetle Cab, lowered, sprintstars etc that is up for sale, and am hoping to purchase something a little different. I suppose as you get older your tastes change. Heaven forbid... even mature.

In the past I've had a Cal Ghia, a few restored bugs, split kombies....but as a friend of mine says..."if it's rare, cut it".....so let the fun begin.

Well it took me nearly a year, but I finally sold the Cabriolet.

I ended up buying pretty much what I was looking for - albeit an Oval would have been perfect, but this is the next best thing. She'll be slammed a little more, and will get a bit more rare bling and some 50's influences.
