Default Show Us Where The Magic Happens ( your garages / shops )

There has been a lot of pics posted of members rides but lets see where you work on your projects. I know I should be the last one to post something like this because I can no longer fit my car in the garage because of the wood stove but I can still work on the smaller things for the car. It also gives me insperation having all of the VW junk laying around while I do work.

So let's see your Garages and work shops so we can compare and drool!!
Here's mine stacked to the ceiling with doors, wheels, decklids an engine and loads of other crap. And yes, there IS a little space for me to work near the back where the blue chair is. Damn I gotta clean that place up ...Tim

At my old place I worked out in the yard with an 8x10 shed with no electricity then moved up to a nicer 16x16 shed with 220. Here, I don't have a garage either but I do have a concrete driveway and a 10x16 shed with power. If I can get the finances right this year (stick to the plan) I'll build a proper shop late this year or next spring.

This is the best picture I could find.It used to be my dad's house before he upgraded. This door was the livingroom,to the right was suposed to be a paint booth but ended up being my side for VW And Jeep parts, through the door on the left is the old kichen that has 2 lathes and 2 mills setup with some stainless work tables And around from their is his old bedroom that he uses as a Harley paint booth. I also have a small colection of tools and parts here at my house but no garage ...Donald

I'm usually forced to work on my side that is way to small or pull it outside

Yea... relatively clean... nice race banners, those er my '61 rag and my '67 rat... its kinda narrow, barely fits 2 vws past each other with the benches and tool boxes, but its long. (please, people, narrow and long, no penis jokes)

OK i don't have a vw in it right now have been working on this POS grand prix for a friend

half of this place is my machine shop and half is my area for whatever I am currently playing with

Got a manual lathe and mill and cnc lathe

my back yard storage

last 2 are my dungeon (was an oil change place so it has a 16' by 16' by 6' concrete pit
great for storage if I weren't 6'3" but it's piled 4 ' high all around in there, been bbuying shelving to put in there to clean it up. i have found that the shelving just makes more room for stuff to be stacked on the floor

it's got a whole hell of a lot of shit in it now and it doesn't look so big anymore but here it is. nice and small, one car but it's the first garage i've ever had and i love it.

Here's mine,
It's small, so when you have to separate body and chassis, only one can be parked inside
...fucking rain
I think I'm gonna build some kind of roof on the side of it for the next project,
because we have a big backyard... an american fullsize car could never fit there otherwise

Yes it's an incredible mess, tools both sides, holiday crap up top, my comics and mags on the left and the only spot I can work on anything to the right, the center is all hardware and equipment, really need a 5 car garage!

[attachmentid=9346] [attachmentid=9347]

And this is the only spot I've got away from mother nature to actually work on projects

this is mine... it looks larger than it is because of the "wide angle" look, 3 pics photoshopped together.

no vw's in there in this pic... or at the moment for that matter. i'm tied up gatting ready for race season at the moment.

heres the outside. door closest is a small 1 bay seperate from the main garage that serves as a shed.

this is my grage its a lil mesy in the pic casue id just got done pulling a 24 hour work-a-thon on my stang ripping it apart so i can get my new cage and chassis parts weled on before the race season starts. its a small garage and having parts from my dads 66 c10 chevy in there makes it even smaller.
