Carrying on in the tradition of the original Crazy Bastards of the Month, this month's
recipient is a father and son duo. Their user name is "SPERAN", which is a combination
of Dad named Ran and son named Spencer.
While dad is a hot rod and muscle car guy, what Spencer wanted something a little different.
So at 14 years of age, Spencer talked dad into a 1967 splittie bus. Now at 16, with the guidance
of his Dad pointing him in the right directions, Spencer's hard work has got the bus well on it's
way to becoming one sweet ride.
And... as if pulling off a project like this, at the age of 16 years old, wasn't enough...
Here's the coolest thing about it...
Young Spencer here isn't just a determined, hard-headed young gun who's learning to
work some magic with some tools in the garage... but ALSO class president, top grade point average since 1st grade, state science fair three years, lettered in track, and the list goes on.
 This bus utilizes a 4" narrowed adjustable beam with Franklin's VW Werks spindles,
an IRS rear transaxle setup and a dual carb'd, chromed out motor. And... as at least
one of the pics shows... dad has been making Spencer work his ass off for this thing.
If this is what he can build between 14 and 16, just wait until he really gets going!
