Crazy Bastard of the Month!

This months Crazy Bastard of the Month once again comes to us from Vancouver, Washington
 with Mark's (Markh's) stunning Bugtruck.

Mark is no stranger to cutting up VWs as his last couple of bugs have shown.  One was
the light blue volksrod with the 1930 Model A Ford fenders and his last one was the
grey Stoll-ish coupe.

For the Bugtruck, Mark started with a complete running and driving 1967 bug and quickly
lopped the body off just past the door jambs.  After much cutting and welding, the
gaping hole was then filled in with a 50's Chevy truck cab and a Chevy pick up box was
resized to fit the VW scale.  Once the body work was smoothed out and several layers of
primer were laid down and sanded, it was time for paint.  For this project, Mark went
with Go-Man-Go Tangerine, and this color hit the nail on the head especially with the
addition of the 15x5 and 17x8 Torq Thrust Classics.   Once the paint was dry, Mark began
filling in the interior with some junkyard seats.  Of course when your junkyard has a set
of tan leather bucket seats from a 1998 Mazda 626, that is a good thing.  Mark has also
put in new carpet and has made some custom door panels.

With just a few details remaining, Mark has got to be daydreaming about cruising the
streets in his awesome Bugtruck.
