June 24th
***Still unsure if Billetproof will even allow a VW to be entered into the build-off... the guys first set off to make a "trial run" to see if they'd be able to pull off this build up within the one-day time frame allotted for this event... to find out where they need to focus the time, where they can cut corners, etc. Awaiting word from Kirk at Billetproof...
June 28th
***Walt offers up an old '63 he had laying around... No fenders, hood or decklid.
June 29th
***It's decided... Walt's '63 donor car is the victim. Plans are still being made for everyone to meet soon at Walt's shop at the soonest weekend possible.
 June 30th
***Still no answer whether it's allowed at Billetproof or not...
July 1st
***Walt can't take it any more... he starts laying out cut lines for the chop locations and devises a new method for chopping a top... which includes NARROWING THE ENTIRE BODY about 2 1/8" inches... CRAZY BASTARD.
July 10th
***Tentative date for the weekend get together at Walt's shop to start the cuttin'.
CORRECTION:
July10th won't work... Justin (dayzwalker) will be up "way too late" the night before sticking dollars in STRIPPER THONGS and drinking WHITE RUSSIANS. So Sunday, July 11th it is...
